Facebook Live #1 Recap: Event Marketing, Facebook Ads, and Instagram

Facebook Live Recap: Event Marketing, Instagram Engagement, Facebook Ads

I have decided to start doing regular Facebook Live videos in my Facebook Group to answer questions about Digital Marketing, so here is a quick recap from the first, which took place March 14th! The next one will be later this month, so join my Facebook Group and tune in LIVE or watch the replay when you can!

Maria Thomas of My Life is a Puddle asked:

“What is the best way to work with Instagram – specifically, when you have a lot of text and hashtags to post in your description? I don’t want to be hunched over my phone typing all this stuff out, so is there a desktop app or something?”

Katie Boué of The Morning Fresh asked:

“I’d love to learn more about social media activations at IRL events. Things like: most successful ways to get folks to use a hashtag/check-in at an event/follow your org during the event, encouraging people to share content from the event, and maybe some ways to keep the momentum alive post-event. And maybe some thoughts on how to best manage the on-the-ground live coverage of events as a social media manager (how the heck are we supposed to livestream and live tweet and take photos and engage with all the comments/questions and and and…)”

Erin Sullivan of Erin Outdoors asked:

“For Facebook ads, I’m sure it depends, but generally I am curious- how long/how much money do you think it would take to see conversion if you’re starting with a not super active FB page?”

Christopher Denu asked:

“With the latest IG algorithm, I heard like you should only use like 5 hashtags?”
