is a multidisciplinary artist with a deep passion for science. Her work seeks to bridge the gap between art and science through storytelling, creative collaboration, and science communication.

She is currently conducting research at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) at CU Boulder, where she transforms spacecraft magnetometer data collected in Earth’s orbit into sound. This innovative approach allows for audio analysis of the Earth’s magnetic field, solar wind, geomagnetic events, and more - Listen here.

MY WORK

In 2024, I conducted research for the UTA (University of Texas at Arlington) Physics Department, taking magnetometer data from the MMS (Magnetospheric Multiscale Mission) and turning it into audio with a process called sonification.

I then collaborated with the team at the UTA Planetarium and used my data + programmed visuals of the sun pulled from the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) at the date-time of my data in a performance. Watch the full show below (the data “duet,” begins at around 12:15).
